 ABOUT BOB RUSSO
Bob Russo has worked in the professional film and video production business for over 13 years. During that time he's worn many hats, from editor to producer to shooter. As a videographer and field producer he saw the world on a number of national and international field productions.
His recent experiences prior to working for Avid include a lot of hours working on an Avid. As the editor or senior editor on hundreds of long form programs, he gained a strong background in offline editing, on-line editing, legalizing and color-correcting. His work has appeared on a number of networks including: PBS, The Learning Channel, the Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, FOX, NBC, Home & Garden Television, and Bravo to name a few.
Currently, Bob works as a Senior Application Specialist for Avid where he works with Post and Broadcast customers to promote Avid’s industry leading professional workflows.  ABOUT KEN LARUE
Ken LaRue is an Autodesk Application Engineer focusing on editing and compositing in film and television. He travels the world training and demonstrating Smoke, Flame, Composite and Combustion to clients such as Disney Animation Studios, EA (Electronic Arts), CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) to name a few.
Ken also has taught compositing and special effect classes at DePaul University in Chicago, IL.  ABOUT JAY IGNASZEWSKI
Jay came East after wandering off the honor farm at the Shirley Temple Black Home for the Cinematically Bewildered in Palm Springs. Having worked in the Film Industry for over 25 years on the West Coast, Jay came East seeking four seasons and the perfect ear of white corn. He has worked with George Lucas, Steven Speilberg, David Lynch and Mel Brooks, to name a few. His skill set includes editing (Emmy for co-editing the pilot for Twin Peaks), visual effects (producer VFX for Eraser, tests for Matrix and What Dreams May Come), sound (location and post - One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, Black Stallion), camera (Panavision, Arriflex, Éclair, B&H) and he makes a mean Bolognese. Jay also teaches production courses at two local universities, sharing his vast reservoir of hearsay and misinformation with the upcoming generation of image-makers. Hoping to steer these impressionable youths to a better life path such as animal husbandry or fly tying. Jay now is seeking a crisp, brilliant sauvignon blanc to go with the corn.
