And, joining us for "a taste of tapeless technology":
GARY ADCOCK, Digerati and Principal at Studio 37, along with
JAY IGNASZEWSKI, Northeast Region Territory Manager for AJA, will join us for a presentation and discussion on the technology behind the AJA KiPro. The KiPro is a tapeless recording device that creates professional quality recordings in full raster 10-bit Apple ProRes 422 and Apple ProRes 422 (HQ).

*** Gary and Jay's presentation will also include:
- An overview of the internal hardware-based conversion capabilities of the KiPro, allowing it to function in 1080i, 720P, or SD environments.
- Utilization of industry standard removable storage media.
-Integration into live or post production environments.
- Apple Final Cut Studio workflow.

Gary Adcock is the principal at Studio 37, an HD and Film Consultancy in based in Chicago, IL. Know for his presentations at numerous events worldwide, evangelizing for High Definition and tapeless production technologies, as the Keynote speaker at GIO’s HDTV initiative in Taipei, Taiwan (Aug. 2006), at Sony's Playstation 3 Launch in Madrid, Spain (Mar. 2007) and discussing HD and Post Production workflows at the 2007 Arab Media Conference in Dubai. A tech writer and reviewer for Macworld Publications as well as aSpeaker at the National Association of Broadcasters for the last 8 years, including serving as Technical Chair and Advisor for Digital Facilities and HD Solutions at NAB’s Post Production World Conferences and Gary currently serves as Tech Chair for NAB’s Director of Photography Conference.
